That's good. So strange that since I've had a ticket open with support for over a week they haven't suggested that though. They've only been dismissive and asked for updates if it's resolved. lol. Amcrest support has proven itself to be horrid. Really makes me think twice about spending additional money with them going forward or suggesting their products to others like I have been for years now. :/

Well it is hard to say... I am sorry you feel that way over something that is new to them as it is a New product compared to other Security Cameras and Devices they have carried... What I can tell you is that when I contacted them with the issue the person i was working with took the AD110 they have in the office for testing and connected it, I was told to go look at mine again because theirs was working... I thought maybe it was Related to the FW and or App Software because the people at first I know about was on the New FW and new App but later heard others were also having issues with 3.3.6 and on old FW was also offline... However they were not at Amcrest... So then he went to next level support and they turned on their camera there it was working but wanted to see if it was do to a Factory Reset so they reset that one and it came up working... So then it was collect data from people that call in or Email in for what is going on, Collect FW and Software info and they will keep searching for the issue... However from what I found even after I told them that I was able to now after a Reset get the doorbell to come back online they at that point and from what I know still today have not found any fault in the server and don't know why there was an outage...

Yes, I agree, this is not good and at this point I love Amcrest NVR with cameras but the Doorbell is a 1 star at this point. I opened a support ticket last week to see if I could get more answers/help but nothing. I have sent several follow ups to the Amcrest support team and crickets. I am not happy with the AD110 nor the support of this device. Come on, Amcrest can do better?!? I think it is time to start emailing someone that might care there. I need to find some C-level emails addresses I guess... At least tell us something!!

My doorbell is now fully functional. App 3.3.6 on Android 9 Samsung J3 Doorbell FW 1.000.00AC004.0.R.200509. Was not able to see any recordings on my sdcard. Sometime over the weekend it started working. Still not going to upgrade the app yet. Will see how this behaves.

I hope you have better luck than I did. 11 days, and no responses to any of my attempts to reach out to them, other than the direct support ticket. But even then it was days between replies and very generic/no troubleshooting at all. But the response there is completely lacking as well for any useful help. I did just get a reply a few minutes ago that I need to reset my doorbell as "no one else is down." OK... Great. (I already know that's not true based on reading these threads.) So, did they provide any instructions, or any guidance on how to do a factory reset or anything at all? The answer is a deafening -NO.

Sorry that this is a mess.. I guess that the Smart Home Support team is different then the Normal Support team and I am not sure if they are new or what but normally that isn't how I have had support from Amcrest...

To reset your Doorbell camera you will need to go to the Camera, Take off the Faceplate no tools are needed for this as it snaps on ... Then on the right side of the Camera is a Button little more then half way up you will Press and Hold this Button until your hear this Say something like Factory Reseting.. Then after you should see if I remember right the button go full blue at this time press the button again just a normal press *Don't press and HOld this time* then the hotspot will be on. Bring up your smart home app and add it back into the app.. It will ask you if the hotspot is on when it is press the next and setup Wifi again for me the password for my wifi was saved in my phone I guess as I didn't have to type it in thank goodness it was already in there for me. Then once saved back to the App it should be back up and working...

I have done that procedure several times. When I scan the QR code, I get a message "Please check your network". And it stays on that page. I even changed the Wireless AP that I have locared about 8 feet from the door bell. No change. Down load speed is about 80 MBPS, upload is about 6 MBPS. That should be fast enough for anything.

i have a feeling your android tablet may come installed with an android build that is not fully compatible with the smart home app. can you find another android device to test? how about an android smart phone?

Well, it has been working perfectly for at least 8 weeks before this issue surfaced. I don't have any other Android or Ios device.

hmm... did the issue started with v3.5.0? i think 8 weeks before would have been v3.3.6. how about entering the serial number manually? if that doesn't work then you may have to consider side loading v3.3.6.
