hmm... did the issue started with v3.5.0? i think 8 weeks before would have been v3.3.6. how about entering the serial number manually? if that doesn't work then you may have to consider side loading v3.3.6.
I get the same result using QR code or manual entry. How would I get back to v3.3.6?

you can try downloading the apk file. https://apkpure.com/amcrest-smart-home/ ... %2Fversion

be sure to uninstall the old version first before side loading v3.3.6.

I un-installed SH v3.5.0. I installed SH v3.3.6. I swapped the AP out. I replaced the cat 6 cable from the AP to a switch. I changed the port that the cable is plugged into. I still get that insane message when I enter the serial number, both by scanning the QR code or manually, "Please check your network".

i did some tests and the only time i get the message 'please check your network' was when i turn off the wifi on my mobile phone. the issue could between your ap and your tablet wifi module. not having another android device or ios device to test presents a real challenge in ruling out certain variables. i'm fresh out of ideas.

Another possibility to consider — if you have a dual frequency AP 2.4GHz and 5.1GHz) they may not be bridgeable. The AD110 can only connect to the 2.4GHz radio, and perhaps your tablet is connecting to the 5.1GHz radio. If you can temporarily turn off the 5.1GHz side of your AP to force the tablet to the 2.4GHz radio then this may solve connectivity for the setup. You could then return to dual frequency operation because all further communication is directed through the cloud.

My wife got her new iPad Air up and running today. First job was to install Smart Home. Everything worked as expected and my AD110 is again on line. I guess there is no way to use my Android tablet to make changes to the AD110? I seem to recall a sharing function of some kind? Thanks for all of the help! I am still puzzled about why the Android tablet quit working after 8 weeks of perfect operation.

My router has separate login for 2.4 and 5 GHz. It does not have the capability to switch between frequencies. (I think), maybe I will try with 5 GHz turned off.

@hawkeye62 , once a device is registered on your smart home account, you should be able to see the doorbell on your android smart home account after you log in. the device is linked to your smart home account. sharing requires a second smart home account where the first one shares a device with the second smart home account.

Any word on all of the servers issues? Everything fixed now - I do not think so? My AD110 is still offline and I have no way of physical access until November. Still hoping that the AD110 will return to online status magically somehow. Amcrest Smart Home Support has been ANYTHING but... zero stars..

Sadly not going to be any magic.. Everyone I know of has had to do a Reset at the camera Reset button to get it back online... Not going to be there until NOV you must have loads of trust in the area your camera is located.. I have a Cabin that I have cameras at but I have a Neighbor that keeps an eye on the place as well.. he has access to my Cameras that are located outdoors and can get Alerts when there is motion at the back yard.

Sadly I am not sure how to reset it without being there to setup WIFI back once reset...
Be Safe.
