I added the second IP address to the list of devices in PC-NVR and it is now working.
Thank you for your support.
PC-NVR Options Greyed Out

PC-NVR downloaded today does not work on PC even using the suggested work-around (adding the PC as a device)
Surveillance Pro has no problem finding and displaying the camera, but when I try to add it to PC-NVR everything just sits there and sits there and sits there - nothing happens.

Re: PC-NVR Options Greyed Out
When I first installed the Amcrest servailance pro/with the PCNVR I was able to use it with no problems. After some time of it working, I went to add another camera to the system and found that all of the options were grayed out. When reading this forum, There was mentions of different IP addresses. I do not have a wireless add adapter, but I did find that between the time that I first set up the NVR and now that I had installed a virtual machine that I was practicing with. So when I would do an ipconfig, I had the second address listed. Just for fun I took out my first PCNVR and reset it up on the second IP and it worked. The strange thing is that the cameras are on a 10.0.0.1/24 and so was my first PCNVR. Now the PCNVR is on 192.168.56.1/24 and the camera's are still on the 10. network along with the computer that is hosting the PCNVR. As a result the PCNVR now is not greyed out, you can add camera's and configs, but it will not record and will not allow playback. I can take the virtual machene off and all functions.... Im just now wondering what setting can be changed in order for the software to see the adapter that I want it to.

Thanks jack7,
That makes lots more sense, I just needed to change the binding order of my adapters and I can still run the VM's.

Re: PC-NVR Options Greyed Out
Solved, but it's a little technical. It comes down to changing the binding order of your network adapter(s) such that Ethernet and Wi-Fi adapters are the lowest: Ethernet is 5 and Wi-Fi is 10. The lower the number, the higher the priority. I had to change my Wi-Fi adapter from 35 to 10, and now PC-NVR is not greyed out.
It's easy if you follow these directions:

Re: PC-NVR Options Greyed Out
I am now having this problem. All PC-NVR Tabs are greyed out and non functional. Dell Server running Windows 10 Pro, latest updates, two network adapters, but I am only using one of them right now. Installed Surveillance Pro version from the website. Added device PC-NVR with the computer IP address. Added cameras in Devices.
When I go to PC-NVR from the home screen, the HDD Management tab briefly flashes some info in the right-hand pane, just 1/2 second and then disappears, all tabs are greyed out and I cannot do anything with this function.
uninstalled/reinstalled Aurveillance Pro, set the adapter binding order (above) to 5, tried different users I created on the system etc. NOTHING works.
Ideas?
