Upgraded Surveillance Pro PC-NVR Not Working
Re: Upgraded Surveillance Pro PC-NVR Not Working
Same issue here. any update on this?
Re: Upgraded Surveillance Pro PC-NVR Not Working
It looks like they have been working on it for almost a year now. Starting to lose interest in amcrest. My neighbor bought a set in March and had the same issue, I think he sent them back to the vendor.
Re: Upgraded Surveillance Pro PC-NVR Not Working
after a while of searching for a solution, I went into the amcrest pro software and tried to automatically find my cameras which i setup manually. Software was searching the wrong subnet. Thats because the binding order of my network adapters was wrong. I then googled windows 10 network adapter binding order. Set my real network adapter to 2 and it works. I setup virtual machines on all my computers and it created virtual network adapters which the amcrest pro was referencing instead of my real world network adapter.
Re: Upgraded Surveillance Pro PC-NVR Not Working
Hi,
I have the exact same problem with the Amcrest surveillance Pro - 1.14.1. Very frustrated with this software.
PC-NVR does NOT work at all. Did you get it resolve? Thank you
Here is what I have experienced -
(windows 10) Amcrest surveillance Pro 1.14.1 - PC-NVR gray out, even the camera listed under device, and liveview was working. PC-NVR just don't see it... My work around with that was manually recording it via liveview.... The problem is the file crashed after recording about 900+ Mb, it's just very unstable...
(windows 7) Downgraded to 1.11.1 on (came with the camera CD)- Things here is slightly better, PC-NVR works, but the bigger problem here is the old version limited the hard drive allocation to 200GB. This is so weak.... I have a 4TB drive, no work around with this.... Same problem trying to record via liveview....
(windows 7) What's worst - Amcrest surveillance Pro - 1.14.1 won't even run on window 7, keep getting msvcr100.dll error.... I have another machine running windows 10, but getting the PC-NVR and other issues above...

Re: Upgraded Surveillance Pro PC-NVR Not Working
Wish I would have done more research with Amcrest and their lack of development. This is ridiculous this PC-NVR issue still has not been fixed obviously a company that does not care about their software development.
The negligence of ignoring a major issue on their software that they are aware of as seen in the activities in these forums. Do not go with amcrest looks like they won't be lasting long as a company and soon there will be no support for any of their products and software. Good Bye Amcrest

Hello gkang2000 ,
The PC NVR is functional and should work in most computers. The only thing is you need to add the PC NVR under devices as mentioned in this thread earlier.

Re: Upgraded Surveillance Pro PC-NVR Not Working
Just you know if you can not get the PV-NVR to show up in the remote section you must manually Log out and log back in and it will fix the issue of the grayed out buttons on the left of PC-NVR section of the Surveillance Pro software

Re: Upgraded Surveillance Pro PC-NVR Not Working
itnotme is exactly right!
Solved, but it's a little technical. It comes down to changing the binding order of your network adapter(s) such that Ethernet and Wi-Fi adapters are the lowest: Ethernet is 5 and Wi-Fi is 10. The lower the number, the higher the priority. I had to change my Wi-Fi adapter from 35 to 10, and now PC-NVR is not greyed out.
It's easy if you follow these directions:
