I have most everything working except for one thing. The IVS intrusion is working, but I’d rather have the smart person and vehicle detection in the region I have set up instead. I haven’t figured that out yet.

Ok region? You mean like motion detection zone or you want to setup a tripwire like intrusion? I mean 1 of my areas has 4 access point for human and vehicles. Take bottom of a V with underline. V you know 1 area 4 points, so have a tripwire act as intrusion. However if your looking for intrusion and was looking to use appear rather than cross you would just need to change your IVS type. If your talking about motion and using SMD? You have SMD or VMD nvr?

Thanks. I set up an intrusion area. I also set up a region for human and vehicle detection. The human and vehicle detection is more important to me but only the intrusion is sending an email and an FTP to my website. I do not have an NVR. The whole EPTZ thing is new to me and I can’t figure out how to set it.

So there has to be a toggle on your camera WebUI.. When you click on it you will be giving the ability to turn on Eptz, Then the type some only have 2 types and others have more. I can't remember how many mine has but I had this one setup for my neighbors that were on a Fishing trip together. Now they have the Light off seeing they are home so my camera don't pick it up well and soon seeing nicer weather is coming I won't even be able to see one of their homes with the leaves coming back lol. Anyway I turned on EPTZ for this camera, Main view is on top left with the 3 boxes. I have the ability to adjust the box size some cameras you can some you can't. If you can then you can even use a smaller box to zoom into the area of interest.. Some can record the EPTZ areas as it is setup like different cameras and others can't so you would have to capture it in a screen capture..

So are you saying that your Intrusion don't have an option for Vehicle or Human detection? Most high end Ai cameras for intrusion and Tripwire have the ability to pick the Filter and turn on Vehicle or Human and or both. I have some tripwires setup with Human in one on my drive way that is closer to the road because I want to be notified when someone comes onto the property walking sooner then if they were in a vehicle. Seeing someone might use my drive as they have as a turn around spot.. So I will not get a notice in my email if they are not 20 feet into my driveway.. 10 feet for humans.. Then I have as you can see on the right my Ai view on my NVRs GUI, On Ch1 I get alerts for Human and vehicles as you can see in the right. Ch6 is my driveway.. But 6 is also setup in my NVR as SMD with filters only in playback. I record full time on channel 6, have motion enabled but have it setup not to record motion events. However if in playback on my NVR. I start the playback and then I click on the Smart Search for Vehicles it will playback all vehicles that went by Humans same thing but I already have a tripwire for Humans so normally only use the smart serach for Vehicles and I can see what might have been missed in Ch1..

Sometimes it is easier to show then understand what someone is saying lol.. So in my first picture that is of my Real AI IVS events yesterday by what my Tripwires are setup for.. The second picture is as you can see the Green *General* is enabled. yet this time I click on the Human and Vehicle icon you can see in the bottom of the playback window next to the speaker icon. I picked Vehicles and that is how many drove by.. Now I can narrow that search down using another search method by adding a box in front of my driveway if I wanted and it would only show the vehicles that went past that spot. right now that picture is showing the whole area, so some might have came down the road at the right and turned right and didn't even pass my driveway..
So I went ahead and will upload a 3rd picture with the box in front of my Drive as you can see the lines are now orange as the box in the street is orange that I added to make that first search smaller..

So here is another pair of pictures where I was testing to see if SMD would work better then my current method and well it didn't so I turned SMD off again mainly becasue I didn't want the extra event of motion showing when leaves or the wind is blowing and the shadows of trees you can see in my picture above wave around causing motion events to show in the time line. Way I have it there is no motion events because I have SMD and Motion recording turned off but enabled and with that it lets me do the smart search for full time recordings..

So oddly I just looked up the camera and funny that the Human and Vehicle detection is posted in the main write up but there is no mention of it where Tripwire and Intrusion is listed like all my AI cameras that offer it has it stated lol.. Tech sheet also don't mention it either.. Hummm Would love to see a picture of your Intrusion screen? This is from my camera above pictures are taken from.. This is from my NVR but my WebUI is different then yours seeing your WebUI is new format.. But in my system cameras WebUI or NVR GUI you can enable Filters then pick human and or vehicle..

I’m getting very close to my desired setup. I am receiving motion emails as desired but no snapshots, just a “statement” that says human or vehicle. FTP to my website has motion videos but no jpg.
