Ok in event area need to make sure snapshot is enabled if the option is there, might even ask 1,3 or 5 snapshots per event. Yet normally in ivs option is 1. Then will want to make sure in storage area under Schedule you have it setup under snapshot tab as motion and event and remove full time I would also make sure motion and event is also setup for normal recording as well. Added a snapshot of my email, you can see it has an attachment

I will. I have helped others with their camera issues on this forum. I have set up a number of Amcrest cameras. This model with a changed setup has baffled me.

My apologies for jumping on this thread but since it concerns the specific model I have a question about I hope you'll forgive me. I can't seem to determine from the website or the documentation whether this camera is capable of using the standard 12V DC power supply that is available for multiple other models, or whether it only accepts POE? Appreciate a little insight from anyone who has purchased one. Thanks in advance!

Most likely. I’m not certain since I’m using POE, but there are two cables coming from the camera - one for Ethernet and one for power.

As per the Data sheet it seems it would be a normal 12v seeing there is nothing that states a min or max current and says it is also poe af. Power Supply 12V DC/PoE (802.3af) So sometimes the camera it self will have a min or max marking on the cable as well.

Normally Amcrest cameras that came with a power supply would be 12v 2amps even though most of the cameras with said power supply require much less. They have make sure there is a good head room with the power supply.

Thanks @Revo2Maxx as well, appreciate that information. I'm going to go with the assumption that their 12V adapter will work fine with this model then. Considering a couple of them, and don't currently have POE available, which is why I was asking. Appreciate the help all!
