Suddenly no notifications anymore with Amcrest Smart Home and AD410 on Android.

Yep, no notifications for me as well now. Started yesterday afternoon. Before that it would send them sporadic.

Hi I am having the same problem since beginng of september suddenly no notifications are received, I tryed all the tasks other have done (sofrtware update, turn equipments on and then off, check configuration

I have 2 IP2M-841B on diferent locations and different ip providers and the app on samsung phone

@pc2003pc this thread is about Smart Home Devices, If you are having issues with your 841 using AVP then might want to try AVP2 from amcrest and see if that cures your issues. I have 841b and 841W and they are working alerts to AVP2 without any issues using my Samsung S9, S21 Ultra and S24. Might want to make a new thread in the Amcrest View Pro area..

as of Sep 3 0224 the old Amcrest app for android no longer will send push notifications.
This app has worked for about 5 years with no issues.
I have tried multiple 841 cameras with no success.
The newer app from Google Play store will work, but this app leaves much to be desired and this has been stated in previous posts.
Attempting to view 2-3 events' as a video will not display the video correctly.
Will now look for something different, perhaps Ring Door Bell gadget

I'm having the same issue. We have five amcrest doorbells in total. None of them are sending notifications to the Android Smart Home App and the one at my home is only working some of the time for Apple.

I'm not going to read through this 10 page thread. I'm tired of the inconsistencies with these products. What happened sometime in the last several weeks is that the doorbell push notification is missing from the amcrest app. Before the change there were different notification types for motion, button press. Now there was just one general notification. You can view this at the notification categories for the app on Android. I would like somebody from amcrest to weigh in on when this will be fixed. I get motion notifications, I get doorbell push button notifications but I can't set the sound to be something different from a general notification like you used to be able to. This makes having a doorbell completely useless.

Whatever this new app is is complete garbage. It's the same old tired crap as the previous one only worse.

I'm having same issues as above, call notification comes through as a small generic sound, means we miss the doorbell presses.

Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but doesn't help. Was close to deleting device and starting again but lucky didn't as I see I'm not alone.

I can see on my android when looking at app info, it is now coming through as a miscellaneous notifcation when I press the doorbell. It used to show the actual doorbell tone chosen.

Decided to give up on amcrest, getting a Reolink to replace
