NV4108E - NVR ALERT No Snapshot on email

NV4108E - NVR ALERT No Snapshot on email

Hello,

I am new to Acrest gear.. It really not a user friendly setup as I may look.. And some of the options are a bit confucing..

Anyways I need help with the motion alerts. Here its what its happening..

If i congifure the camera for motion alert. I get the camera alert via email with a snapshot of the movement no problems there..

The problem its with the NVR.. When i configure the NVR with all the instructions I have been able to find.. I do get an email alert but it does NOT include a snapshot of the motion i get the alert with out any pictures..

Here is how i have the NVR setup

Under Network>email. Next to the subject line it the attachment check box and i have it check

Under Event>Detect>
cam 1
Enable its checked
Snapshot its checked
send email its checked

I do get an email but no snapshot..

Help what am I missing...

Hello jcancel ,

Click on the 'setup' tab next to snapshot under Motion detects settings and make sure snapshot is enabled for motion recording. Also go to Storage > Schedule > Snapshot and ensure snapshot is enabled for motion detection. Tyr again after this and see if you get snapshots with email.

I had the exact same problem. I followed all the instructions provided in Amcrest's reply and I still get no snapshots with my alert emails.
Everything else is working as expected except this one issue.
