IP2M-841 motion detection not working

IP2M-841 motion detection not working

I have my new camera pointed out my front window. The motion is enabled, but it will not trigger and event or record when I move in front of it outside. How do I get it to work through the window. I have has other IP cameras and all of them worked fine. Very disappointed

Hello nollinger ,

The camera should detect motion despite the window. Please ensure the sensitivity is high and the detection area is selected under motion detection through the web interface. You also need to set schedule for recording under Setup > Storage > Schedule. If you are still having issues, please contact our support team.
