I'm having the same "time out" issue on the mobile View Pro app, Ver 3.40.0057.
I'm using DDNS to access my cameras and had no problem prior to the update.
I can access via P2P but not via IP/Domain/DDNS.

Amcrest View Pro (iOS v3.40.0057) - Login Timed Out
Re: Amcrest View Pro (iOS v3.40.0057) - Login Timed Out
Add me to "the few" who have the "Login Timeout" issue since the update. I'm really questioning my decision to purchase Amcrest cameras. Updates seem to be more like beta versions of software. Why do the developers not have comprehensive testing and change management procedures in place before software is released? I previously had Foscam cameras and didn't run across these types of problems. Sorry for the rant but an update release that makes the product line completely unusable is irresponsible to their customers. Fix the problem!
Re: Amcrest View Pro (iOS v3.40.0057) - Login Timed Out
Is there a projected release date for the revised app? Otherwise, what's the status of this app being rolled back in the App Store? To echo another user's comments, it very upsetting that more thorough testing wasn't done before this version was released.

AMCREST, when are you planning to make your customers whole and roll back to a functioning version of the app?

The new update (.0059) resolved my issues. Thank you.

Hi, Amcrest Support...
I know that sometimes we consumers can be vocal when something is broken and it doesn't seem to get fixed quickly enough. But I'm posting this message to THANK YOU for iOS v 3.40.0059 which cured the problem of
Login Timeout (which appeared on Jan 25 with the v3.40.0057 update).
My Amcrest View Pro is working again.
Thanks again.

Re: Amcrest View Pro (iOS v3.40.0057) - Login Timed Out
I am on V3.40.59 of Amcrest View Pro and this problem has just begun occurring today on my iPhone with iOS 10.2.1. restarting, loading again via the camera icon on the top right to restart live view does not fix this problem. "Login timed out" is consistently displayed as the error code.
I've only had this camera installed for 3 weeks and so far it has been down more than it is up.

Hello all,
We have been working with other customers who had issue connecting with T-Mobile network and were able to resolve it by doing the following, it seems to be an issue on T-Mobile's end:
On your iPhone, go to:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Note that this will reset all of your network settings back to default, including both your carrier and your wireless network settings. If you have saved passwords for your wireless networks, you will need to enter them again after resetting since your iPhone will go back to its default state of not having any stored wireless network passwords.
Please try this and let me know if you're able to get things working. If not, you may need to contact T-Mobile as they might have to reset your SIM card remotely. Again, it does appear to be a T-Mobile related problem, and we'd suggest contacting them if you continue to have issues if you have tried the above with no resolution.
