Melvin, why don't you roll back the version on the app store? it's obvious there is a problem with the current release.

Hello narrowfoot,
We are currently working on this but only a few of our customers are facing the issue.

Logon Timeout when using iPhone 6
IOS 10.2.1
Amcrest View Pro v3.40.0057
Amcrest Camera Software 2420.AC00.15.R
ONVIF 2.42
Occurs whether using Wi-Fi over local LAN or using T-Mobile carrier.
The problem began immediately after Amcrest automatically pushed 3.40.0057 version on Jan 24.
Tried removing and re-installing program but that doesn't fix problem
The cameras can be viewed using regular Web Browser (Safari on iPhone or Internet Explorer on Windows)
Melvin... How can you say that "not enough" people have complained about this problem? The "new" version of Amcrest View Pro is broken!

Re: Amcrest View Pro (iOS v3.40.0057) - Login Timed Out
Hey everyone, I have found the reason, in my case at least, why the app is not working. Up to this point I had port forwarded port 80 to all of my cameras and they still work great on android or other apps on ios. However, something changed in this release to where only port that works is the port 37777. So, when you do the port forwarding just make sure that you forward to that port. Everything works now and I tested multiple firmware releases as well. If you need more help or an explanation check this out: https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/ar ... -HDseries-
Re: Amcrest View Pro (iOS v3.40.0057) - Login Timed Out
I tried the fix that worked for dachoeks3's setup, but it made no difference for me.
When I initially set up my cameras, I configured each of them with a unique Static IP address and a unique HTTP port number. I configured Port Forwarding and Firewall rules for the settings in each camera, and they are reachable whether I'm on my local network, or anywhere else in the world. They continue to work fine through a regular web browser.
In Amcrest View Pro for my iPhone, the only applicable settings for an IP/Domain configuration are the IP address, unique HTTP port number for the camera, Username, and Password. That's what was working perfectly until January 25, when Amcrest View Pro automatically updated to v 3.40.0057
Anyhow, I tried forwarding TCP port 37777 (and also UDP port 37778) which are the default port numbers that were already set up in the camera, even though it didn't make sense to do that. The problem still persists.
The recent update for Amcrest View Pro that was pushed to iPhone users BROKE the previously-working app.
Amcrest... PLEASE fix it. I'm not the only one experiencing the problem.

Amcrest should roll back the version on the app store or provide the previous build as a different app. It's ridiculous that they are leaving the users hanging like this.

Hi everyone,
Just chiming in here, we've already submitted a rolled back version of the app as of last week to Apple, however they have to go through their review process as usual to get this released. We have also submitted an expedited request so we can get this rolled back app live as soon as possible.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to users who are experiencing this. Our team is working on troubleshooting the issue and getting a corrected version out as soon as possible.

Amcrest,
Please fix this issue as soon as possible as my wife is none too pleased with not being able to access our multiple cameras via Amcrest View Pro on the iPhone as before! Clearly, there are multiple users impacted by this.
