Defective IP2M-841B I think

New out of the box. Connected everything and was able to login using the supplied IP config Tool. the video in the window was corrupted. I changed a few video settings and I have not been able to login since. I performed the hard reset multiple times. The camera also appears to reset on it's own every few minutes. Even the one time I was able to change the IP address it reverted back. It appears I have a defective unit, only a red or orange light, never green. This has all been over wired. Using admin/admin, port 37777. Nothing. Is it possible to force a firmware update through the microSD?

I just purchased a 721S, received last night. Initial setup went fine, was working for about 5 minutes. After about 5 minutes, the light turned orange, and it resets itself every few minutes. I have unplugged several times and tried several hard resets, and the light continues to be orange. With the orange light, I cannot connect to the camera.

Was this issue ever resolved from the prior email? Any solution would be helpful. I have emailed tech support.

I am extremely disappointed as this was an immediate need before traveling. Without an immediate response, I will need to purchase something else in a store and send this back.

I have the same orange light issue. The camera worked a while, but now, despite a hard reset and multiple power cycles, I cannot get it to work either hardwired or via wireless.
