Unlock device password error on Smart Home app cameras

Anyone experiences the Unlock device password error on Smart Home app cameras. I have included a image of what I am seeing in the app. It happen randomly every few weeks and the only way to fix it is to reboot the camera which is really acknowledge when you share your camera with family member and they ask about the issue constantly. I have a few open tickets on the issue with Amcrest support however they don't seem too concerned or have offered any kind of update as to when it would be resolved. I am on the latest version of Amcrest Smart home and firmware version for the cameras. it's happening to all different models of the cameras as well.

Amcrest support also said they only have a few cases open about and it doesn't seem to be widespread. Anyone else seeing this error message on your armrest cameras?

No issues but no one other then me have access to the smart home cameras or most of the others around my place. Only time I have issue like that is when i change the password after reset or just changing the password for my own reasons when I go to look if I forget to change in app I am asked to update? Did you buy new or used?

All my cameras were purchased new. I am using the same password I set up on day one since it requires you to setup a new password when setting them up.

If multi people are using your same account it might have this type of issue. It is best to setup a new user for the other phones and share the device with them if you have not done so.. Bring up the device, then click on the Cog at the top then under device information there is a Share This device. Then setup users you want to share with. Then it should not have this issue?

The other users have their own account. As you probably already know, You can not log into different devices at the same time with the same account. If user one is logged in to device A and user 2 logs into Device b with the same account it will log out user A.

Understood, That is what I thought was going on. Sorry don't know like I said I only have access to my SH products.. Outside of that best bet would be Amcrest Support.. Sorry was not able to help with your issues.

Understood I appreciate the device. Amcrest Support has been useless for over the years to be honest. They stop responding to tickets when it's clear they don't know how to fix something. I decided to come here instead in hopes that someone else has experienced the same issue and also to encourage anyone else with in the same situation to submit a support request to draw more attention to the matter.
