Re: Amcrest ProHD Saves files as dav_
Did anyone ever find a fix for this? I continue to live with this, many of my files (though not all) end up being dav_. I suppose I could write a script on my NAS to just rename the files, but it would be nice to just have it work properly.

Re: Software Is Amazingly BAD
If you're on a different network the IP addresses or subnet could be entirely different. You probably need their IP config tool to try and sniff out the cameras and then set them to an appropriate IP address that matches your new subnet.

Re: Email Alerts not working; Settings seem right
Hi Melvin,
I thought I tried that but I'll try again.
However, why do those need to be checked? Is it not possible to send an email as a plain alert, and without an attached snapshot?

Re: Motion Detection Unreliable
You're correct that the most sensitive setting is a high sensitivity and a low threshold. I'm frustrated because, on one hand, I need to set some areas with very high sensitivities and low thresholds to get any detections of people walking across the scene (30 feet away?), and even then some seem to...

Re: Motion Detection Unreliable
The only thing I've tried to do is increase the sensitivity a bunch and decrease the threshold. So in some regions I have the sensitivity set to 95 and the threshold set to 5. Still, there are times where it's just not detecting, though it seems less often.

Email Alerts not working; Settings seem right
I'm trying to get my cameras to email me when there's motion detected. The motion detection works, video is recorded when there is motion. Additionally, my email settings work, as the "Test Email" function successfully sends me a test email. Lastly, under Event -> Video Detect, "Enabl...

Re: Push Notifications Not Working (ProHD)
Here's a snippet of my log file showing what I mention above. I really hope Amcrest chimes in on what could be causing this behavior... 284 System 2017-08-03 01:25:44 Save Configuration {"Name":"Mobile Push Notification"} 285 System 2017-08-03 01:15:44 Save Configuration {"N...

Re: Push Notifications Not Working (ProHD)
hi all, not sure if anyone is still following this, but in my camera's log, I'm seeing settings updated for push notifications every 10 minutes by "System" which is certainly not me. When I update them myself through the app, it appears from "admin" but within 10 minutes, they're...
