Guess I'm going to revive an old thread... but I just purchased a ProHD and it was worked by great for a week. Received motion notifications on my iPhone app and everything was great.... now it doesn't do any notifications what so ever. I am going on vacation tomorrow and this camera doesn't do any motion or any notifications. I have followed every direction from the beginning of this thread and still nothing and it's pissing me off and wishing I spent the little extra money on other reliable cameras.... help me out Amcrest!!!

I feel your pain, just bought 2 IP2M-842E last week, I'm pleased with them so far but just like you push notifications is not stable to iphone 6. I will not buy any more cameras until it's fixed. The last two days it worked the first time in the morning when triggered leaving the driveway and stops after that. I guess it had rest over night and decided to work one time and take a nap. My workaround for now is setting up smtp email and it goes to an email app on my phone. With the camera motion set to send and email and the phone email app notification enable you will get notified. My account doesn't get many emails so no problem for me so if you get lots of emails it could be a pain. Oh well hope this gets fixed soon.

hi all, not sure if anyone is still following this, but in my camera's log, I'm seeing settings updated for push notifications every 10 minutes by "System" which is certainly not me. When I update them myself through the app, it appears from "admin" but within 10 minutes, they're overridden. In my case anyway, it seems like this is the cause of my notifications not appearing.

So my question is:
Q1) What is causing these periodic updates to push notifications?
Q2) In my case, I tried to setup two different smartphones to BOTH receive notifications, which may have contributed to the current situation I'm in. Are push notifications to multiple devices supported?

hey guys. I have bought this camera and it is not able to receive push notifications. i have enabled the motion detection in the web config and the application. nothing happens. i see a lot of people in here complaining for this and of course not one from the staff helping.

i am curious if there is anyone who can help me or if the solution is to sell this thing and move on because the only reason i bought this is the push notifications it promised.

Push Notifications show up for me but the video very seldom will play, I get a "No Recording" message. This no recording seems to happen about 90% of the time.

I have 3 cameras with push notifications enabled. One actually works correctly, the other 2 try to go to the wrong camera and I get the No Recording message as well when I open the notification.

anyone ever get this fixed? I guess im going to have to call, but i have a feeling they wont get it to work. I also get "no recordings"

Here is one thing to try if you haven't already:
"From the web interface of the camera from PC go to set up > System > general > Date and time and change the camera date & time format to year-month-Day and Time format to 24 Hour Standard. Then reboot the cam and try again."
Also enabling DST settings may be helpful if you are in a region that does daylight savings:
Enable DST check box, choose "week", 2nd Sunday in March, to 1st Sunday in Nov.
