Hello,
Good to know it works for you. The camera interface is designed to only look for SD card files for play back. Its unfortunately not possible to set a limit for recording. Guess you already found the Amcrest Smart play for playing back .dav files.

Re: "Input Abnormality" alarm - what is it?
Hello,
Under the settings there a place where you can set up email alerts for abnormal situations such as no SD card or SD card error. If this is a DVR, you might get this when there is no signal from a particular channel. You can turn of this feature if you do not wish to receive emails on this.

Hello,
The NAS device has to support and have enabled NFS, Network File System, the Linux, Unix standard for sharing files. Please check if your NAS support NFS and have it enabled.

Re: FTP not working (Netgear router with USB drive)
Hello,
Go to the setting Record > Destination and make sure that the FTP option is enabled. Input the server address as '192.168.1.x' (Your router IP), enter the folder name under path after having the record directory under the root folder of the FTP.

Re: user name / password keeps getting messed up
Hello, If you are changing the default password through the phone app, it might be the problem. Please try resetting the cam and then set up the cam on a PC. https://amcrest.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/211017817-How-to-setup-your-camera-via-Desktop-Access-on-a-PC-or-Mac- Also if you use the phone ...

Re: Setting up email on Amcrest ProHD (IP2M-841)
Hello, Are you able to access your camera from a computer or phone? When you use gmail, under the settings for gmail, you also have an option to enable 'less secure apps'. Please enable it and try again. If it still fails, go the camera's network settings and change the IP type to DHCP and reboot th...

Re: Account not active
Hello, Please make sure you are using the correct username and password. Its also case sensitive. If nothing works, I would suggest you hard reset the camera by holding the reset button (indicator light) on the back of the camera for 10 seconds. You will have to set up the cam from scratch after tha...

Re: Auto maintain - remove all old files ?
Hello,
We will test that feature to see how exactly it works. I believe that if it reaches 6 days, that night at midnight it will remove everything from the previous day.It wouldn't do it right as soon as you set the setting
