Should an external microphone that works well when it's 3.5mm connector is plugged in to the "Audio In" port on a Foscam 9821 and a Foscam 9831 also work with the Amcrest IP2M-841 ? If so, I'll pursue a waranty exchange. That's what I'm experiencing with the "Audio In Device" set...

Have you found a solution? I'm experiencing the same issue on the IP2M-841 using a microphone that works with my Foscam camera.
