Re: Amcrest Smart Home - "Network Error" cannot login

Really LOL. Why is it that Amcrest gets software out and then takes heat being held up in the Apple Store having to wait until it is approved for release.. Silent for days? Well lets see the SH product goes offline and they get 700+ tickets about the issue and in short order gets an updated app out...

Re: Amcrest Smart Home - "Network Error" cannot login

The update to the app has been sent to both Apple and Google, Seeing there are things in place for all Apple apps to be approved or denied my guess is that it might take some time for the Apple software to hit the DL spot.. I was told a yesterday that it might take a few days for either platform an...

Re: Amcrest Smart Home - "Network Error" cannot login

Just got my ReoLink camera from Amazon. App works great; camera is actually a bit clearer. Can’t complain.

Wouldn’t have looked elsewhere cause I’ve always used Amcrest. Will transition to ReoLink for future items. Thanks for the push guys!

Re: Amcrest Smart Home - "Network Error" cannot login

I was trying to update the wifi network on a new camera…. Did a factory reset and getting a similar “please check your network.” Been like this for almost a day…. Presuming this is tied to the same issue?

Re: Email Alerts

Well couple of things, In the Camera if it isn't setup for Snapshot even without having a Micro SD the camera won't send one. Kind of hard to understand but was something I had at one time when i wasn't getting any images sent. Come to find out not only the NVR but the camera has to be setup for im...

Hrm... on the individual cameras, or the NVR? I'm not 100% that's on.

Hadn't used the health check either so will look into that.

Appreciate the assistance!

Email Alerts

So i've got one system that i've had for years... works great, sends me email alerts on the channels I want, etc. I setup a second one at a second location, and I can't for the life of me get it setup and sending motion alerts. I've verified that it IS recording motion by viewing the past recordings...
