weird bug logging in through Xprotect

Yeah that sums it up. Despite changing the password in AVP, the only password that works in the 3rd party apps is the password admin, and not the one I changed it too.

Talking with Amcrest it seems there is no Ticket made for this. So you will want to get a ticket setup so they can get more info to correct this and help you out for a solution..
