I'm getting emails but no snap shots are included.
I've done the following
1. Go to Event > Enable Motion detection > Enable Send Email and Snapshot. Also make sure on the schedule setup, all the days of the week has green lines on it.
2. Go to Storage > Schedule > Snapshot Schedule > Make sure all the days of the week has yellow lines (for motion detection). did this for both record and snap shot tabs
3. Go to Network > SMTP(Email) > Make sure Attachment is enabled.
I think this is a generic problem but configuration consists of
NVR - NV4108E from package AMNV30M8-4B-B
Camera - for now single poe bullet ip3m-954eb
So what check box did i forget

jack7, thanks but that wasn't the problem. while i had in motion detect snap shot checked. i hadn't done the setup where you specify the number of snap shots. appears the default was none. found out by looking at the monitor interface where the number of snap shots is on the same screen unlike the web where it's a pop up under setup.

hope I am not creating problems digging this old thread but I had the same problem described above and this information might be useful for those still experiencing this issue
I solved by performing a default reset
System > Default Settings > Default Settings
then I reconfigured email account and set
Event > Video Detection > Send Email
Event > Video Detection > Snapshot
snapshots are now present in the email
