Emailed them this:

Using Surveillance Pro on my computer. When motion is detected on one camera, all channels record. After doing some research, I see that the cameras need to be on different channels correct? All mine are on channel 1. How do you create different channels? I see the channel settings under device config, but you cant change it. Where else do you have to go to set it up correctly?

3 - Is this network comprised of one router, multiple routers, access points and repeaters? Tell me a little about your network. 1 Router (Dlink) and all cams are hooked to a Trendnet POE switch with solid copper cat 5e. No issues with network, everything is gigabit and runs flawlessly.

4 - What is your name. ***********

I have everything working but when 1 camera gets triggered to record, all cameras record at the same time. The research I have done points me here:

Looks like I need to put them all on different channels but it wont allow me to change the channel. I don’t have a NVR, I am using a windows 10 computer with your pro software.

I am not using your poe NVR, im using a window 10 computer with your software as I mentioned.

I am using a poe switch as i mentioned.

I am not using a poe router.

Then I got this:

Log onto the camera an lower the volumes. Use the IP Address. (See Attached)

The attached pic was him showing me to lower the microphone volume. I mean am I just stupid? What in the world does lowering the mic volume on my one camera have anything to do with recording motion? I have come to realize that Amcrest is a joke of a company. What a waste of my time and money. Amateurs at best.

If you would slow down and read the emails i send you, you would know all this information. Dont worry about it now, I give up. Im sending all this $700 worth of garbage back to amazon. You can close ticket.
