No video when setting motion detect zone

No video when setting motion detect zone

I am trying to setup motion detection and when trying to set the area I want (wether I use web browser, Amcrest Client) I never see any video when trying to set the zone. I have amcrest cameras with the NV4108E NVR. I have already RMA'd the device, tried a mac, windows 10, and created a Windows 10 VM for a scratch install in hopes it was my machines. Still no video on all three.

Any ideas?

Hello drinkingguinness ,

When you add cameras to the NVR, select the manufacturer type as 'Private' if you have not done that. So you can remove the cameras from the 'remote' settings and add it again to see if that works.

Thanks for the reply Melvin.

I tried setting to private, from onif, and the camera will not even show. I tried changing the port to 8000 or 554 but no luck. :( Am I doing something wrong?
