Hi,
Just setting up a new IP2M-841W. I get it to connect to the wifi but can't proceed past the next step which is start live view. I keep getting a failed to connect error message.
I downloaded the Amcrest Pro app from both the app store (iPhone/iPad) and the play store (Samsung Galaxy Note) hoping it was just an app glitch but neither versions work on any of the devices.
I have not tried setting it up via P2P etc - was hoping to avboid it since all i need is to be able to view it when we are outside the baby's room.
Any help will be greatly appreciated - Thanks.

Please try hard resetting the camera. For this, you need to press and hold the indicator light on the back of the camera for 10 - 15 seconds. The light will turn red and the camera will do its initial pan/tilt after this. You need to set up the camera once again after this as it will reset all the settings.
If this does not work, you might need to login to the camera from a PC, update the firmware and try again. Please give us a call if you are still facing issues.

So I know this is an old post, however I just had the same issue. When I go into devices on the app I had to choose the device then click the pencil (edit) icon and make sure the live view was set to main and this fixed the issue
