I have 2 of the IP8M-2779E-AI and after turning off my network switch thus camera (POE based) for the evening (not changing this), setting for frame interval is lost; it defaults back to 15. No other settings are lost except that.
I have to log in via web or Amcrest View Pro to set it back every time I turn systems back on.

You happen to have your camera setup on a NVR or some 3rd party software? My 2779 default is 30 Iframes.. Are you saying yours after a reboot is going to 15 or you saying that you are changing yours to 1x aka 15 iframes and after a reboot it reverts back to 30? aka 2x..
Also the Watermark setting looks like you might be trying to use that as your camera name? That is a hidden water mark for when you upload as native amcrest upload to prove that the footage is realy and not changed.. If you meant to be same as your camera name then all is good.. Just asking?
I did change mine to 15 just to see what would happen seeing the default is 30 for my camera. Thought maybe you were looking to change to 1x iframes so I did change mine to 15 and did a reboot and the 15 is still there after loading back into WebUI..
If you are not connected to a Cloud or a 3rd party software or hardware that might be making the changes I would maybe reset the camera back to factory and if that don't work then uploading the Firmware again to the camera and another reset after might cure the issue.. ?
The IP8M-2779E-AI defaults to 15 but I changed to 30 or other number. It is lost upon POWER OFF. If I reboot, settings stays - I've used Chrome and Firefox and Edge. It is only when I power off for the evening, but like I said all other settings stay. I do use XProtect with identical settings. And that watermark is the name I've set.
You got me on the right track Revo and now its fix.
I did have the same settings for the camera and XProtect, but once XProtect went online it changed back to 15 and the reason was the driver it used reverted it back. There was a second setting in XProtect as shown that I needed to be toggle to CUSTOM instead of the default.
