I set a static IP for my camera while I was updating networking configurations and trying to get it to work with my Raymarine Axiom 12 MFD. I now can no longer connect to the web interface or use the IP Config tool to update its configuration. I would like to reset the static ip configuration and have it be served by DHCP now.
I can ping the camera on the network but other than that I cannot access it.
When I first plug it into the network, I can see it show up in IP Config. If I try to change any of the values, I get a message that modification failed. If I refresh the list the camera no longer shows until I power cycle it.
Is there any way to factory reset it other than to physically press the button? I would like to avoid going up the mast.
I have the following values set
IP Address: 198.18.7.9
Subnet Mask: 255.255.248.0
Gateway: 198.18.0.104
Are there any other tools that I could try to communicate with it other than IP Config and or my web browser?
When I do an nmap, I can see that there is a port open 8088, but not sure what is there behind that ready to respond and I haven't had any success with the usual HTTP requests.

Need to make sure that what ever you are trying to connect to the IP address is within the correct range..
Looking at the IP Address I am guessing this is of your Camera?, Your subnet does cover the range from your IP and gateway just need to make sure that what ever device is connecting to it falls within that same range. 198.18.0.1 to 198.18.7.254.

Re: IP4M-1068EW-AI Web Interface Not Accessible
I was able to reset the camera and connect to it again and it was working for a few days. When I woke up this morning, it is no longer able to connect. I can ping it but the web server is not running.
Is it possible that there is moisture that has gotten into the camera and that is causing a problem? I wouldn't think so if it is able to boot enough to gather an IP address.
Any ideas on what could cause the camera to boot but the web server to not start?

After I factory reset it, I did not set it to be a static IP again.

How sensitive are these cameras to low voltage? Could that be what caused it to go into this bad state?
I have found that the distributor for the 48v PoE switch this is connected to can have a voltage drop under certain conditions. It’s possible the camera had a voltage sag and that caused it to get into this bad state?
