I have been trying to reach out to Amcrest tech support with little success. Perhaps the forum is a better way to reach out? I am seeing bugs and security issues on IPM4-1051 with the following firmware:
- Software Version V2.620.00AC000.3.R, Build Date: 2019-09-19
WEB Version 3.2.1.619604
ONVIF Version 16.12(V2.4.1.513183)
1) Camera seems to phone home to Amazon AWS cloud on port 8800 regularly. Turning off p2p (per a different post) doesn't disable that. Cameras should not be phoning home without explicit permission from the user.
2) FTP snapshot automatically deletes images even though the auto delete feature is disabled.
3) Camera speeds 1-8 are like fast to super fast. Can we slow down the lower end of the motion?
