If you happen to have the tools and ability to repair, Just so you know the LEDs on my IR board have a voltage drop of 1.283 when testing the IR LEDs in diode mode. My guess is that there might be a short in one of your IR leds or one of the traces on the PCB has shorted open.

Also thought before I get someone to try and correct me lol.. I know a SHORT and an OPEN circuit are different things. However a short in this case could cause one of the traces to become OPEN.. Just saying...

I personally have made repairs from that type of failure. Another thing that might have happened but less likely is that there might have been some left solder balls from when the camera was built that could have shorted out the IR PCB.. If I had to guess it is a bad IR led on the PCB that has caused your device to no longer work as expected..

Keep in mind if in the event the circuit is the issue, This is on the camera PCB and the regulators are on the other side of the lens and will need to be removed from the holder. (Not the Lens the PCB) Then because right on the other side of the IR Connecter is the Cameras Ribbon connecter the regulators are on the other end and opposite side. Just follow the tracks. I know they are on Black PCB and kind of hard to follow but can be seen well enough.. With any luck they will show sign of damage so you know what one is bad without having to test.. Also when you put the PCB back in the little holder I find it to be easier to put the side with the single clip in center easier then trying to go the other way.. Also keep in mind that you don't want to damage the holder as it is very tight fit. Little help with a Pick goes a long way when working on that..

It's very generous of you to offer to repair the camera, and I agree completely. I have already "reassigned" the camera to a daytime-only role in a different location on the property. Again, I thank you for taking the time to think through this with me and give me such detailed answers.
