Got two IP2M-841 a while back (the other is still in the box) but the one i have up is having a hard time staying connected. At first i thought it was the WIFI as the unit seems to not be able to connect with my wireless router (ASUS RT-AC66U) in the kitchen about 40 or so feet away.
So I got a TP-LINK (WR802N) that i used cat6 cable to connect the amcrest to the TP-LINK (WR802N) , then setup the TP-LINK (WR802N) to be a wireless bridge. Thinking that the quality of the wifi module in the TP-LINK (WR802N) was better adept and more powerful so as to connect to my ASUS router... this seemed to work much better however.. after about 3 minutes of watching the live feed the video stream always died.
The second test was to directly connect the IP2M-841 to my ASUS router with cat6 cable, I see the exact same behavior. FYI my home internet is 200M down, 50M up. I also see this issue within my local lan as well, so it would seem that its not a lan or wan problem but something with the camera (or its settings) itself...
Ill be at home and hear a mechanical buzzing noise and see the IP2M-841 turning around then back to center as if its "resetting" (or rebooting) itself. this seems to happen every 45 seconds to - 3 minutes. Does anyone else have this issue?
I was hoping this to be a reliable camera but now not too sure... is this a known issue?
Does any one have any advice? Or know whats is the return policy of amcrest camera's ?

Tried to update my post but cant seem to add a few more details:
1) Camera seems like it is resetting or rebooting itself within 4 min continuously
2) I am using latest firmware update (Amcrest_IPC-AWXX_Eng_N_V2.420.AC00.15.R.20160908)
3) My router is configured as a static route (no DHCP for this IP address)

It looks like a bad power supply or defective camera as it keeps rebooting. This cant be because of any settings. Please ensure that the power cable that goes into the camera and the wall plug is fitting in properly.
If that does not resolve the issue please contact us for an RMA.
