Can't Rename ASH47-W Camera

My ASH47 camera WIFI failed. I received a refurbished ASH47 from Amcrest yesterday. I setup the camera using the Smart Home app today. Everything seems to be working perfectly. BUT, I have not been able to change the long default name. Any advice will be appreciated.

Not sure what you are asking. If you are asking about the name that might show up in NVR or if you are asking about the name from Smart Home app. But best way to change name is using your NVR.. I show 2 different ways using 2 different NVRs. Seeing your NVR would be setup like one of these. If I remember right you are using HS model so it would be like my 4116E-HS that I do show. However if is newer one the A2 then it might be setup like my 4216-E1 that is how I changed it first time. when I logged in the 225 NVR that is the HS. If your NVR dont' look like either of them and is the A2 I can setup the ASH47 to work on my A2 and show how to change from there.. https://youtu.be/EaEXnrkNBow

The name in the Smart Home app is under the Device Information. Get there by clicking on the cog in the top right of the Smart Home app. Then click on Device Information, then second item down is Device Name..

Out side of that only 2 ways I can think of at this time..

Thanks for the reply Revo. I guess the Smart Home camera name doesn't mean much. I just set the name I want in ASP and the 4108-HS picked it up when I added the ASH to the 4108 device list.
