Which exact cameras do you have? LMS software is from Vikylink which is a Hik and Dahua OEM knockoff (counterfeiter?) that sells some pretty decent hardware at bargain prices, but with caveats as you have discovered.

I happen to have a 4K VIK with nightime color and active deterrent capability with a limited degree of AI that is pretty remarkable for the price. The firmware is weird but manageable, but I was able to acquire a additional management software from their support group that made life much easier. It may also apply to your cameras.

One additional step you can take to further identify (possibly) the camera specifics is to download ONVIF Device Manager to analyze the firmware, etc.
It's free. Install it. Log in using the username and password of the camera and go. It should spit out a fair amount of information catagorized in a list providing details for each catagory. May or may not help, but worth looking at.

Don't trash those cameras. I'll take em first! LOL

I have 2 Amcrest cameras and their doorbell camera. I suspect they are having a server issue that they are not disclosing to the users.
I have very sporadic connections to the video cameras for the last few weeks and I have not received any notifications from my doorbell camera for several days.
I try to connect to the remote cameras, which have worked for 2 or 3 years, and have very limited success.
I looked at the doorbell cam's events and had well over 50 without any notifications.
Is Amcrest going out of business and shutting down operations without tell the customers, or are they having major server problems?

Lol Amcrest isn't closing how can someone come to something as such off issues with App issues? Problem is phones get updates and things that once worked no longer works. Once amcrest finds out by means of tickets, they will get an update out to cure the issue. Let's not make a mountain out of a mole hill.
Be Safe.
