Camera Dead after Firmware Upgrade

IP2M-841B was nagging about upgrading firmware, downloaded it and told it to do the upgrade and now the Camera is dead. Will not connect. Won't let me delete it and try to readd it either, keeps giving me to please delete push notifications first. Get a blinking green light on the back after first multiple attempts to get it to come back up. Cannot ping the device, cannot add the device, cannot retrieve the configuration. Camera is useless. HELP

Reinstalled app on phone and still DOA. Other two cameras are working, but I will be damned if I will upgrade their firmware.

Please try hard resetting the camera. For this, you need to press and hold the indicator light on the back of the camera for 10 - 15 seconds. The light will turn red and the camera will do its initial pan/tilt after this. You need to set up the camera once again after this as it will reset all the settings. Please try the wifi configuration on the phone to set up the camera again and see if that works.

I have the same issue. One of my camera stopped working after the firmware upgrade. It keeps rebooting and showing the red LED light on the back. I tried to reset it to factory default, it works for an hour or less and then it goes back in reboot loop... Waiting for tech support to reply...

Installed the latest firmware upgrade of 0004 to 0008 on my white IP2M-841. The camera is dead. Trying a factory hard reset did not work. The led on the back of the camera doesn't light up red or green. It's completely dead.

Camera doesn't even move after unplugging and replugging back power. lifeless.

Suggestion to Amcrest: If the camera had the ability to overwrite the firmware by reading file from sd card, that would be an option to revive it. When it fails to completely load, we end up with nothing. You camera are probably not build with top quality component to have such low price, so at least add a recovery feature.

Same problem here! Camera worked fine for a few days post firmware upgrade. It died last night and hard reset won't bring it back.

Please try connecting the camera to router and then see if it shows up in Ipconfig tool. Then you can login to the camera using IP config tool and manually update the firmware and that should resolve the issue.

Mine is too , upgrade 2 to 8 and then dead
Reset doesn't work
Led lights solid red.

If this does not help, you can replace the camera under warranty.
