Hello Jim Smyth,
Can you please try with Internet Explorer if not already tried and see if it works?

I use Internet Explorer and cannot get it to work

This also applies to DVR web access. Just a plugin install request loop. What's going on?

I registered just to throw my addition into this. I am having the exact same loop as others. I'm actually really disgusted that I bought from this company. I purchased a Yi Dome camera and had a painless and excellent experience.... then I thought I would try Amcrest as I liked a couple features they had (or at least touted) ....Big, big mistake.
The software is pathetic at best, to have so much work to simply get a camera to work with Firefox because they couldn't be bothered to write software that might actually work with other browsers (NPAPI). I mean who tells people to use internet explorer anymore?? This is not 2001, IE isn't the browser of choice for a lot of people.
Also, it says point blank on the outside packaging that POE works.... it does not! And no, telling me to buy a splitter is NOT POE. POE means that I can take ONE network cable and plug it DIRECTLY into the device and it will power on.... no splitters needed.
I wouldn't normally be so hard on a company but when you have had quite some time to figure out the problems and we're on a near 3 month old thread still exhibiting the same problems it's obvious that you don't give a crap about your software and end experience.
From this stupid login loop that obviously multiple people suffer from to the POE lie that is advertised on the box, I have just been extremely let down in this company and will absolutely NOT be recommending them to other people.

Hello jwoodard80,
Sorry to hear about the issues. We do sell POE cameras but all models are not POE. Please give us a call so that we can look into the plugin issue for you. Also if you could provide the like of your purchase, we can check to see if there is any mix up in the shipping process and take necessary action.
