I have several Amcrest cameras (IP8M2796E-AI, IP5M-B1186E, and one ASH22-W). All work great with Home Assistant, my smart home implementation, except for my only "Smart Home" camera, the Amcrest ASH22-W. Support leads me to believe that the "Smart Home" product line is only usable with the Amcrest Smart Home app. This is a bit disappointing and couter-intuitive.
Would it be possible to enable the web interface on the Smart Home line of products so that they worked with smart home implementations?
"Smart Home" devices without HTTP access don't work with Home Assistant smart home

Enabling a WebUI in a Device that don't come it with already would be something that they would need to add in extra parts of the Circuitry. So what this leads us to is don't buy Smart Home products if you want to have a WebUI in your Ip cameras. Just buy an IP camera to start with like your others that you already own.
I mean most people would only buy the ASH22 because of its ability to run Wifi, While some might dislike my take on the matter but the truth is that Wifi isn't really good for Security cameras in general.
Why I say this. Well the other day my ASH line products and my Doorbell camera were all working just fine until the FedEx track hit my street, Then the time it took for him to get out of the truck and put a package on my front steps and for him to leave all my connected Wifi products were offline Only have 3 in my setup of many cameras. So sure my other normal IP cameras caught the delivery of my package. Even the cameras were offline to my NVRs so not 1 wifi camera was recording on my NVRs when that turck was on my street.. Also others in different parts of the USA are using Jammers to target peoples homes and 1 main reason I am opposed to wifi as only form of security at any of my locations.
