Trying to hopefully setup push updates for motion detection to my phone.
I go to the camera I want, go to device details, go to configuration center, see motion detection, it drops down, and I see "Motion Detection" as an option.
I hit it, after a small delay, it returns, "Failed to Acquire Configuration"
Would like this feature to work, giving me a push update, to prevent porch pirates.
Cheers
Ryan
Failed to Acquire Calibration
Re: Failed to Acquire Calibration
Hello and Welcome to the Forum
I am not sure if you are using AVP or AVP2, If you are using the AVP, I would look at installing AVP2 seeing right now AVP is having issues with Push.. Anyway in AVP or 2 normally if you get that message it might be caused by network issue. So if you want your system to work remotely then you will want to setup with P2P.
If it is setup correctly then it will just be an enable and disable for the event type you want. Now for Motion to be active you would want to double check that your Camera is in fact Motion Enabled. Going to the Cameras WebUI and log in with Chrome for newer cameras older ones and even newer ones I still use IE mode because it has best options. IF needing IE using Edge and then on the right is a little e that you can click to turn on IE mode. Once you get into the WebUI for the camera, click Setup at the top right area, Then on left click on Event or Alarm, then click on Motion and make sure it is enabled. If you are using Ai cameras like I do for most of my cameras. I turn off Motion so only have to deal with IVS or Face detection events. Either way most are setup the same way as you would motion just under different tab for the event type.. Once you know for sure that the Motion is enabled then you should be able to setup push for your device on the app. Again with p2P access you will be able to see camera and events while away from home..
