Just installed my camera. Let's see if I understand correctly.

1. The app can only view videos that are recorded on the SD card?
2. If I buy an NVR, I will be able to view the NVR videos on the android app remotely when I'm away from the house.
3. In order to get alerts on my phone, I have to set the alerts on the app. The Windows app ASP will not notify my phone.

Can you confirm or clarify these points?

Yes you will use your phone app for alerts from your cameras and if you have a NVR and setup the NVR to the app then it would be from the NVR. ASP will not send alerts to your AVP II app...
