I just bought an AD110 and am stuck trying to add the device to the Smart Home app. The device is powering on and enabling it's wifi hotspot for pairing. When I scan the QR code, or enter the S/N manually, I am prompted to connect to the device's hotspot and when I confirm to do so it says it connected successfully. But then I receive the "Amcrest Smart Home isn't responding" system error message with options to "Close app" or "Wait. I can click Wait over and over again, and the app will eventually suggest that perhaps the devices has left wifi pairing mode, but I can see the hotspot is still broadcasting and the device's button list is still spinning counter-clockwise. I tried resetting the device and repeating the process, and that didn't help.
App won't connect to new AD110
Re: App won't connect to new AD110
I'm looking at how to do a firmware upgrade via SD card when I haven't been able to actually configure the device yet, and every thing keeps saying to power on the device in test mode, but I can't find anything stating how to actually do that.
Re: App won't connect to new AD110
I would just keep trying at times for what ever reason it takes a couple of times to get it to work and setup. I personally wouldn't worry about FW updates until you get it setup to the Amcrest Smart Home app..

Re: App won't connect to new AD110
@Cuzzant Different issue, All my smart home is offline in the app and still working in my NVRs.. Give Amcrest some time to find the issue and fix it.. Getting out from a weekend when the issue started in the weekend hard to just flip a switch and make things work again..
Be Safe.
Re: App won't connect to new AD110
I am having the same issue with a new Ad410, I am going to return it. This is crazy, I have tried everything 50 times. No response from tech support.
Re: App won't connect to new AD110
I am having the same issue with an ASH41 that I have owned for a while and is known to have worked before. It works on ethernet and I have updated the firmware. I read somewhere that amcrest devices do not support wpa3 so I set my network back to wpa2 with no joy.
