Amcrest Smart Home - "Network Error" cannot login

Getting "Network Error" when trying to log into my account with the AMcrest Smart Home App on Android (and iPhone). Cannot configure my AD410. Did factory reset on AD410, no joy. Did clear of Cache and Storage on Amcrest Smart Home App, no joy. Can't use camera anymore.

I'm seeing this error this morning (Dec 21, 2024) as well. I have the Amcrest Smart Home app on Android, with 4 cameras configured, and it has worked well for years. But this morning when I launch the app, all the cameras have vanished and it says "Network Error" and says it can't read the configuration. Oddly I seem to still get the occasional notification from my cameras, but I can't view the notification without any cameras on the main screen in the app. I hope someone from Amcrest can help!

Connected devices continue to work, but I can not log in from my phone.

I am also getting the same network error message and the app is not showing any of my devices.

I am getting the same error. I can't even login to my account on the website to submit a support ticket. Has anyone figured out how to contact them?

I have been getting the same error Network Config Error since 11am today. The app does not show any of my 3 cameras. Can't login to the website either. Confirmed my cameras are working by viewing them on the Amcrest Surveillance software.

Same here. Spent the last hour or so rebooting the camera, deleting the app, reinstall all with same result. Next time I check this forum first

Same. Can't login, getting "network error". Blue Iris and Amcrest view pro are both working fine, but I need smart home app to adjust floodlight settings.

Same here. Can't login. Can't control my lights. This is making me reconsider buying into ANY walled garden system with centralized control.

Welcome to the world of Amcrest. Seems to be a common problem with them. Every now and then their server goes down and we all lose the ability to use our cameras! Maybe time to toss my three cameras in the garbage and replace them with another brand. Getting tired of this.
