Amcrest Smart Home - "Network Error" cannot login

All of my cameras are also working just fine in Surveillance Station on my Synology NAS and via the Amcrest View Pro2 app. So it's an issue solely with the Smart Home App.

My last update on my Samsung phone was Dec 12th and I know Amcrest Smart Home worked up until 12/21.

If Amcrest going to force customers to use an app, it has to work. Our wifi network has changed and I have no way of updating the wifi cameras with the new credentials, making them useless. I don't care if I have to do a curl request to push the new changes, can we can support on this issue?

I installed Tinycam (free) and am able to at least view my cams. They all have IPs and are viewable but I agree, this sucks having a centralized SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE for ability to view our own cams

Same issue in pixel 7 pro and pixel 5a, no access for a couple of days now.

HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THE ANDROID APP FOR MORE THAN 2 DAYS!!!!!!! IT USED TO WORK NO PROBLEM BUT NOW I GET "NETWORK ERROR" EVERYTIME I TRY TO LOGIN. CLEARED CACHE. DELETED AND REINSTALLED. NOTHING WORKS!!!! IPAD APP STILL WORKS. BOO!!! WHAT THE HELL CHANGED?!!?!!?

I'm in the same boat. I started getting the 'Network Error' messages on 12/21. I tried everything I could think of, with no luck. I finally called tech support and the representative said it's a global issue and he had no estimate of time when the issue will be resolved. He said to submit a service ticket. I submitted a ticket, with no response. Sounds like they are on Christmas break. Hope no one needs to check on their homes while they're out of town.

I have already replaced the affected Amcrest ASH-21 with another brand - permanently.

AFAIK, that model can not be accessed other than by the Amcrest Smart Home and View apps. But no go today.

I also have older Amcrest bullet cams I access with Xeoma (Windows and Linux) and IP Cam Viewer (Android) and they are fine (and very reliable -- around 7 years old).

Will only purchase open protocol cams in the future with easy RTSP: accessibility.
