So anyone having an issues after the Last Update? I have been online without any issue after a Reset.. Anyone have Picture Quality Issues after update? Magenta? Green? or any other odd colors? Anyone have any Kick offs that has new UPDATE not asking the ones that didn't update If you did the Update have issues did you do a Factory Reset after the Update? It might be that the Old data is being used without a Reset?!

Re: Ad110
I had to do the same as well. my Brother that lives in Oregon has one that after the update was able to do a normal Reset from button without removing the item from app.. I have told him to keep an eye for issues might have to do it again.. I did a Reset 2 times and the second time had to remove and reinstall in app because it was just not giving me the options to do so like before...

Re: Ad110
I did not need to reset my AD110 after the update but maybe I should. I have had no picture quality issues but the motion detection has gone to Superman X-ray vision sensitive. It is now picking up the smallest flying insects, shadows, or cars driving past that are almost 100m away. It is almost as if the motion detection has gone from PIR, which I have never been convinced this unit actually has, to strictly. Video motion based detection. I work nights and would normally be asleep right now but the onslaught of motion notifications the past two hours has me awake and reaching for a baseball bat!

@K46tank Hello and Welcome to the Forum
Strange I would do a Factory Reset and see if that fixes the issues with Motion.. Mine was going crazy first time... Then did another Reset and thing were fine.. Oddly enough maybe things are not fine I just didn't set back up maybe to the app the same way as I had it before because the last time I did the Reset I had to remove it from my App and add back..
However it seems this is a Hit and Miss on motion Last week before the Reboot this week I had 99 alerts plus a day however this week after Tue Reboot I am getting 4 to 7 a day that are by birds or reflections from passing cars Sun hits it just right and flashes my camera will set an alert..

Re: Ad110
Thank you for the warm welcome Revo!
I'll give it another reset and see what happens. I was having trouble with my NVR not logging into the AD110 and the factory reset that I performed today solved that. The strange thing about the motion detection change is that the super sensitivity started this morning at around 0930 CDT and I didn't perform the reset until around 1300 hrs.
I did power it down yesterday to test my transformer to hopefully address the issue I am having with the IRs shutting off about 8-10 seconds after opening up the Smart Home app and live viewing. This seems to be a fairly common issue with these units and I'm hoping that the 24v/75va transformer I've ordered will solve that. But I would think a power cycle at 1230 yesterday would cause immediate changes if anything were to change. Not sure why it would wait until this morning to change??? All of my settings are still the same. I'll reset it tomorrow and see if it corrects things……. or changes something else LOL!

Re: Ad110
Well I can say there are some strange things that have been going on with some peoples cameras after a Reboot at the weekly Tue 2am mark.. After the last update things seem to have become stable so I would double check that your on the last update of Without looking I think it is ending in 702... Worse case might need to talk with Amcrest support about a RMA for a new device..
About the IR this is an issue and while I don't want to say 75 is going to work because I guess someone just installed their 100va and it didn't work...
So as I tell everyone there are many factors that can makes these fail.. At times could be Transformer issue.. However if the wiring is to smart for the distance not matter what va you toss at it it is going to fail.. Sadly there is the idea of if I try and put it in a way that someone might understand...
New Water pipe has great water flow... Hard water over time now water flow not so good because the pipe has filled up with deposits and made the HOLE of the pipe to small.. Large good flow small not so good flow... So wire size over distance is just as important if not more important then the Transformer.. Large wire easy flow of power to the camera small wire can cause bad flow aka not enough to make things work..
Please also note that when it was just a Doorbell switch even a small wire could fail however because the short time that someone presses the button to make the door bell ring it is less of an issue plus most doorbells are just 10va or 20va so the draw is very little anyway.. It is hard on small wiring for powering the Camera that now needs full time voltage over them wires...

Re: Ad110
Well, you were right about the 24v/75 amp transformer solving the issue. I still have the IRs cycle off/on when pulling up the live view. It is actually worse now than with the 24v/30 amp transformer as it is cycling off and on all night. I finally had to turn the IRs off. Strangely enough, it wasn't doing that with the 24v/30a transformer. Time to get out the meter and start checking some readings. Possibly i need to pull new wire but the existing wire is 18ga so it should be up to the task.
Re: Ad110
Yes understood it when you said it was still cycling.. Thought I posted I guess I didn't..
I would test behind the camera for the voltage at the transformer and at the doorbell and see where the issue is..
Also remember not all doorbells can use 24vac and if it says it needs 16vac while the 24vac transformer may work it won't be long lived..
