Ad 110 can't turn Night Vision off

Post by greeman »

My doorbell camera works great. The only problem I have is that it is pretty light by my front door all night. With night vision on I can hardly see anything, but with it off I can see fine. I can turn off night vision in the app, but when I check again the next day it is back on auto. What am I doing wrong? Yes I have the latest firmware.

I think it has a scheduled reboot at night, poss Tuesday? Someone will correct me on that. When it reboots it switched night vision back on. Also if power stops for any reason, and it reboots.... night vision back on...

Yes sadly with up to 702 fw it has a weekly reboot 2am on Tuesday. However as stated already power loss on a reboot it goes back to Auto

Think that is cured in next fe update both weekly reboots and change to auto not 100%

i did a test with mine by turning off the night vision last week. i checked last night (a wednesday) and my night vision remains off. this means my night vision off setting was not affected by the weekly tuesday 2am reboot.

That is because if your on the New FW that has since been Removed that FW don't have the Weekly Reboot any more.. They have it turned off because of the outcry about people turning it off and being re enabled after a Reboot... The NEw FW that was Removed so if your on Newer then the 702 it no longer Reboots weekly
