This 960H DVR brings you the latest and most powerful iteration of one of the first additions into the high resolution CCTV industry. The 960H DVR is capable of handling the incredible density of detail provided by the 800+ TVL cameras. Until these were released, 700 TVL was thought to be the highest TVL resolution. Now you can enjoy a crisp, detailed image like no other TVL platform has done before and all for a cost that's hard to beat!

In today’s internet age, it’s not enough to have top-notch picture quality anymore; it’s also necessary to be able to get online. For generations, CCTV technology has been accepted as truly closed-circuit. But with this latest addition to TVL CCTV technology, you can use our new Amcrest Link app to keep an eye over your investments no matter where you are or what you’re doing!
Backwards Compatible
This DVR and camera set (cameras not included) does a lot more than raise the bar against D1 resolution, its predecessor technology, it is also compatible with it. This makes upgrading to 960H that much easier and more practical. All you need to do is switch out the camera units and DVR and keep the same old coaxial cabling that was there before. Add ease of installation to the numerous benefits and strengths of 960H technology and it’s simple to understand why it makes so much sense for your home or business.
24 IR LEDs for Night Vision
Each 960H camera (cameras not included) contains 24 IR LEDs that automatically activate when they detect low lighting conditions, like at night or in a dark room. They can see up to 20 meters (about 65 feet) away so nothing will go unnoticed. Make sure to take advantage of Motion Detection and Scheduled recordings in conjunction with Night Vision to have complete control over the protection of all that you care about.
8-Channel DVR w/ 1TB Hard Drive
View 8 cameras (cameras not included) simultaneously on the DVR’s On-Screen Display so nothing can slip past you. At the highest setting, 960H, it is possible to record for 6 days non-stop, that’s 144 hours! And make sure you make good use of features like Motion Detection and Scheduled Recordings in order to record much more!
IP66 Weatherproof Rating
In addition to raising the bar with HD picture quality, these cameras also come pre-built to withstand intense weather conditions. The IP66 rating standard specifies that these units are totally dust tight as well as being able to endure any kind of wind and rain. When weather conditions outside are working against you, you can rest easy knowing these cameras are working for you.
USB Backup and External Storage Transfer
A 1TB hard drive comes included with this 960H DVR. If that’s not enough, you have the ability to expand the internal HDD to a bigger one (up to 3TB). Not only that, but if you plug in a USB drive or external hard drive with a USB cable, you can organize and sort your snapshots and recordings however you like. Don’t forget to consider an FTP server or cloud storage to make backing up even easier!
