Can't add 14th camera on 16 channel NVR
As the title states, I have a 16 channel NVR and only able to add 13 cameras. Whenever I add the 14th camera on the NVR the camera gets added for about fifteen seconds and then disappears from the camera list. I have tried to remove multiple cameras and all of them work until I hit the 13 limit, then regardless of which camera I add it disappears from the camera list. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

My guess is that there might be a limit on your NVR's Bandwidth. Like on my 4116E-HS right now it says I have 11.80 Mbps of 88.00Mbps. So you might want to look at lowering your current installed cameras Bandwidth and see if that gets your cameras installed.
Something to think about.
If you have a newer NVR and cameras. I would look into running them at h.265 format, This can lower the Bandwidth. While some of my cameras work in h.265 it seems for me anyway that they don't work well enough to run them in that format..

Yup, that's exactly what it was. I set all the cameras to h.265 and that still didn't do the trick. So I set the bitrate to one of the other cameras much lower and that seemed to have worked. Now all 14 cameras are showing up. Thanks for the help.Revo2Maxx wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 10:24 am My guess is that there might be a limit on your NVR's Bandwidth. So do different NVR's support higher bandwidth rates? I think we are running the same NVR, the NV4116E.
Thanks again!

Well my 4216E-AI does have a 208 if I choose not to run it in AI mode. Once an AI camera is setup it then drops it down to 80 and there is no reason really to buy a 4216E-AI NVR if one wasn't going to use the AI features..
I think the 52xx series has a higher one as well. Like I want to say and not 100% sure but if I remember right the 5216E-8p is like our 4116E-HS and has 8 POE ports. However that one supports 320Mbps input.
Now one of the things that differs from my 4216E-AI and the 4116E-HS or 5216E-8p is that the 4216E-AI has 16POE ports and so that might be a reason to buy it over the 5216E-8p if someone was looking to have 16ch POE connected without using other type of cameras.. I bought it for the AI options so that limits me to the 80Mbps..
