Surveillance Pro Storage Allocation PC-NVR

Post by Rafiel »

Hi,

I'm using the Surveillance Pro software for my "Amcrest ProHD Outdoor 3 Megapixel POE Vandal Dome IP Security Camera - IP67 Weatherproof, IK10 Vandal-Proof, 3MP (2048 TVL), IP3M-956E (White)" cameras.

Is there any way that I can allocate more than the maximum 200gb limit onto my HDD(1TB) through the PC-NVR? Or if not through the PC-NVR, are there any other methods of storage that can use more than 200gb on my HDD(1TB)?

Thanks
Melvin

Hello Rafiel ,

The PC NVR option currently can only allocate 200 GB on the hard drive. We will work towards fixing this in the future updates.

I have the same issue. There shouldn't be any limit in my opinion. Good software shouldn't be limited. Especially in this type of software. My customers are pissed cause it only holds 2.5 days worth of real time recordings. They say they will fix it but they are not working too hard on it, or it would be fixed by now.

Can someone please get us a solution to this 200gb limitation in this software? Most drives are 2tb or more. Seems like only common sense to not have a limit on the amount of video we can store.

Christ, Charge me $200 if you must but god damnit, fix the bull sh** already. Starting to get really freaking annoying with the same old bullsh** answers. "we will look into fixing this in future release." Well it's been more than a month since someone said this so it's in the future already. Get it resolved!
