I purchased two IPM-751W cameras and two SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC UHS-I cards from the Amcrest seller on Amazon. These SD cards were recommended for use with these cameras.
These cameras work fine except that no SD card is recognized. I also have two IP2M-841B cameras that these SD cards ARE recognized in. I can take a SD card from one of the IP2M-841B cameras that has been used with no issues and put it in either IPM-751W cameras and when using the iOS app on my iPhone 6s, if I go to device manager and select either IP-751W camera and tap the HDD icon, I get a message "No HDD" even though there is a known good SD card in the slot.
Using the web interface for Internet Explorer, when I go to Setup/Storage/Destination/SD card I get a red exclamation point and the message "No SD Card"
The IPM-751W cameras have no new firmware, but tech support supplied firmware that did not correct the issue.
I find it odd that both cameras are doing the same thing.
I have tried a myriad of microSDXC cards, and none are recognized in either of my IPM-751W cameras but all are recognized in either of my IP2M-841B cameras. I did notice the card does not latch like the slots on the IP2M-841B cameras and other devices that use these SD cards.
Tech support has been trying, and I have tried with the network cable connected, hard resets (with the card in and with the card out) too many times to count. I formatted the cards FAT32 and they still are not recognized.
I keep thinking I am not pushing the card far enough into the slot, and am afraid to use more strength than my fingernail allows.
Not seeing anything similar to my complaint makes me think it is operator error, but I have eliminated every possibility tech support and I can think of.
SD card not recognized in either IPM-751W
Re: SD card not recognized in either IPM-751W
Update - operator error caused the issue. I did not know the SD card socket had a latch that flipped up. I was trying to insert the card without lifting the cover. You slide it toward the connection to unlatch it, and slide it away from the connection to latch it. One it is unlatched, the cover will pivot upward. Then the card will sit down into the cavity. At least it did on the two IPM-751W cameras I have had for about a month. I ordered another IPM-751W and received it today and found the SD card was not recognized in that one either (3rd camera) so I knew it had to be operator error. My wife has much better eyes than I, and saw the OPEN and CLOSE stamped on the SD card cover. I tried to open the latch on the third camera and the latch came off in my hands, so it is going back for a refund.
My experiences with tech support have been all positive, and I know this had them stumped. Blame it on a 60 year old man with bad eyes.

Re: SD card not recognized in either IPM-751W
I know this is an old post but it rescued me from going nuts while trying to get this camera to recognize an SD card.
My eyes are fine but I did not notice this special SD keeper. You do have to pull on the cover to open a cover/door then drop in the SD card, then snap the cover/door down over the SD card.
With a typical SD card holder you simply slide the card in.
Because installing an SD card into this camera would be a common task the procedure should be mentioned in the documentation. Like, in the quick start guide.
Now that I have this problem solved (and correcting the camera time/date) I am ordering another IPM-751W. These problems ended up being easy fixes but finding the fixes was a royal PITA and darn near a deal beaker for future purchases.
FYI, To fix an incorrect time/date display: Run "Amcrest Surveillance Pro", select "Device CFG", select Date&Time, click "Sync PC" button. Then click "Apply", then "Save". That should do it.
Regards,
Dave

That's: "Device CFG" then "Maintenance" then select "Date&Time"...
