I have already searched the forum but I couldn’t find an answer to my question below.
I have a Blue Iris Software license that I purchased to monitor 6 different cameras in my premises. The Blue Iris surveillance software is installed at a relative's home computer offsite for survivability reasons. Unfortunately that computer is not very reliable and sometimes locks up. Since there is a time lapse in between the time it locks up and when my relative notices and reboots it, I am left without footage from triggered motion events during that time frame. Since reliability is very important for me I was hoping to purchase another license to install at another relative’s home computer at a different location. Hopefully having Blue Iris monitoring from two different locations would provide me with a fail-safe mechanism that I can trust to get uninterrupted coverage in case of need.
My question is if that kind of setup would cause interference between both Blue Iris servers to a point where it would render both of them inoperable? Obviously I would try to mimic Blue Iris setup on both servers to avoid any conflicts. But, can the cameras send the same footage to both Blue Iris servers without getting confused or overloaded? I have a very fast connection/router so I am not concerned about bandwidth. I am not interested on cloud storage either, because I am not that fond of the subscription model and I don’t want my stuff stored on “strangers” computers

Thanks for any help/thoughts and looking forward to your replies.
PS. My setup consists of a combination of Foscam R2 and Foscam F19826P cameras, and I have a very fast connection/router.
