Recording interval.

Hello,

I have an Amcrest IP2M-844E camera which is set to initiate recording upon motion detection. That part works fine. However, the recordings last well past the end of any activity. The recordings are in 30 second increments.

For example, a pedestrian walks by and recording begins. The person is out of the frame in 5 seconds, yet the recording goes on for another 25 seconds with no activity. Additionally, after 30 seconds the recording stops then restarts for another 30 seconds. Of the total 60 seconds, there is motion only during the initial 5 seconds.

Is it possible to adjust the camera so that the recordings stop sooner?

Unfortunately there is no option to change the record duration. It is 30 seconds by default.

If it is not possible avoid a full 30 second recording, is it at least possible to avoid the additional 30-second recording which immediately follows? (after 30 seconds the recording stops then immediately restarts for another 30 seconds, again with no motion on camera)
