Record to SD Card and FTP or NAS ?

I just purchased an IP2M-841, and am enjoying playing around with it.

I like the convenience of recording/accessing via the SD card, but would also like to have the video files uploaded to an external site via FTP or NAS. Can this be configured using the Amcrest tools? If not, any suggestions on workarounds?

Hello Gillman,
Its possible to set up recording with FTP or NAS device. NAS has to support NFS. It can be configured through the cameras web interface.

Yes but can it do both at the same time. The SD card & also to a NAS drive

I'm going to try to test this out with a local FTP server, but from what I've seen so far working the configuration console it doesn't look promising.

Are we sure you can record to both? When I click the checkmark to record to NAS, it automatically removed the checkmark from SD card...

No you cant use both options. one or the other. oh, and good luck with the FTP to USB HDD storage.
