I have two cams testing this at the moment, I can plug in more if necessary, but the: IP8M-VB2696EW-AI, and the: IP8M-T2669EW-AI are currently having exact same issue.
Have reinstalled app on TWO phones (Androids)
I can see motion detect events in the playback section of the app, I just do not receive push notifications
What I have done to try and fix:
- disabled and re-enabled Push Notifications multiple times
turned off and back on motion detection in the web interfaces
uninstalled and reinstalled the app (Amcrest View Pro)
unplugged router and POE switch
removed cams and reinstalled
turned off notifications
cleared cache and data in Android settings
I also notice that there is a NEW Amcrest View Pro 2 app that is the "recommended" app for this new camera: IP8M-FCT2999EW-AI. I tried this app and although I like it, it is missing a lot of functionality unless a subscription is enabled. I am wondering and hoping that Amcrest is not thinking of moving to this model and removing features because I will be GONE from this platform when that happens.
