Hi all,
I have the 1080P ProHd Wifi cam. My home WiFi is Google WiFi, which consists of 3 stations - one base and two bridges, which create a mesh network.
I can log into the cam from a computer using the IP config tool when I am home. I can also access the cam from my iphone using the Amcrest app. All works well. Where I am stuck is how to access the cam remotely from a PC. I recently switched from a regular router to this new Google WiFi - I WAS able to remotely access with the old router via UPnP. I am familiar with the settings and understand a fair amount when it comes to networking issues, but still can not figure out how to remotely access.
On my Google WiFi, I have set a static IP for the camera. The external port in my cam settings is 8080. I am attempting to login by going to http://static ip address of cam:8080/, but it will not work. I have not changed any of the ip settings on the cam, other than enabling UPnP. When I enabled it, all mapping succeeded.
Any guidance from here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello amcrestbiell ,
If the UPNP does not work, you need to set up port forwarding on the router and then use the public Ip address:httpport to access the camera remotely. Please note that the TCP port also must be forwarded. Try changing the http port from 8080 to some other 4 digit numbers as well. Please check the below tutorial as well.
Kindly give us a call on 1-888-212-7538 if you are still unable to figure this out
