PROBLEM WITH SELECTING CHANNEL TYPE FOR DVR

HI GUYS. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME ON MY NEW AMCREST 1080P 8 CHANNEL DVR. IM TRYING TO USE THE DVR (TRIBRID)FOR MY IP FOSCAM CAMERA BUT WHEN I GO ON THE CAMERA SETTING ON MY DVR, I CAN ONLY CHOOSE CHANNEL 7 AND 8 TO IP. CHANNEL 1 TO 6 CAN BE CONFIGURE TO COAXIAL AND/OR UTP BUT NOT IP. DO ANYONE KNOWS WHY?

Having the exact same issue. Any updates or anyone know? I found no mention of this limitation in any of the product information.

I have 3 Coax cameras (all working great) and 3 Foscam cameras (2 connected). Would really like to get the 3rd and maybe a 4th.

Hello jchanson,

ON the tribrid HDCVI DVR, you can only use two channels for IP cameras. This is always the last two empty channels on the DVR.
